The class is headed by the 2002 MCHS boys soccer team, which advanced to the state championship game before falling to St. Xavier 3-0. The team compiled a 23-3-1 record.
The coach of that team, Don Walker, and basketball-football timekeeper Dennis Joseph, along with five athletes, are also being enshrined:

n Stephanie Gossum (basketball, Marshall County High School);
n Lori Barrett (basketball, Marshall County High School);
n Aaron Beth (basketball, soccer and tennis, Marshall County High School).
