Marshall County Exceptional Center held their second annual Battle of the Bands competition on Saturday at Mike Miller Park. Eight different bands performed, including Craig Russell who played between sets.
“We really appreciate everyone’s loyalty, “Executive director, Diana Wall, said. “We couldn’t have done any of this without the fabulous bands that came out, the fans, the park, Steve Russell and so many others.”
Joshua Earl Tubbs and Kalib Swift performed during the competition. “I’m excited to listen to all the bands, this is a great opportunity to highlight everyone for a good cause.” Tubbs said.
“People don’t understand how much talent and how many bands come from Marshall County.” Swift added.
The Exceptional Center raised a total of $2026.00. Fans and other band members were able to vote for their favorite band by donating into their bucket, which all benefited the Exceptional Center. He Said She Said won the competition followed by 3rd Degree Black.
