He is survived by three sons, Samuel L. Boone of Burna, Mark Boone of Smithland, and Pat Boone of Smyrna, Tenn. five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one grandchild and his parents were Othella Boone and Anna Mae Payne Boone.
There will be no visitation or funeral services. Burial will be at a later date in Dixon Cemetery. Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home and Crematory is handling arrangements.
