She was the daughter of the late James Ether Cathey and the late Mary Attie (Beasley) Cathey. She is survived by one daughter, Judith “Jan” Arntz of Stanhope, N.J., and one son, James William “Jimmy” Watkins of Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.,three grandchildren, Tara Walton of Spanish Fork, Utah, Brenda Ackerson of West Lafayette, Ind., and Aaron Arntz of Enid, Okla., and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 66 years, Kinzie Watkins.
Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, P.O. Box 492, Benton.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the funeral home. Rev. Jim Calhoun will officiate.
Interment will follow at the Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Murray Calloway Co. Hospice, 803 Poplar St., Murray, KY 42071.
