She is survived by four children: James Hoyt, Robin Baugher, Jeff Hoyt and Leza Hoyt.
Ms. Slaughter had seven grandchildren: Melissa Ross, Heather Olmstead, Daniel McCoy, April McCoy, Ryon and Tayla Hoyt, and four great grandchildren; Quinten Ross, Josiah, Abigail, and Sarah Olmstead. She had one brother James Slaughter and two sisters: Linda Fletcher and Sandy Ungerman; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
