Mable Hines Brown, 84, of Calvert City, died Thursday, May 24, at Calvert City Convalescent Center in Calvert City. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church. She worked as a former nursing aid in a nursing home facility in Portland, Indiana.

She was the daughter of the late John Hines and the late Ella (Joyce) Hines.

She is survived by: sister-in-law: Melda Hines, Calvert City, KY; nephews: Tim and David Hines, Calvert City, KY ;and cousin: Marty Smith, Hartford City, IN.

She was preceded in death by her husband: James Brown; three brothers, and two sisters.

Funeral service were held at Collier Funeral Chapel Sunday, May 27, Rev. Richie Clendenen officiating.

Interment will follow at Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton.
