He worked as an electrician and was a member of IBEW Local 816.
He is survived by one daughter, Kasey Farmer of Henderson; two sons, Jacob Farmer of Clinton, and Levi Farmer of Benton; grandson, Taylor Ramage of Clinton; parents; Solon W. Farmer Sr. and Francis Anderson Farmer of Benton; and four sisters; Vicki Farmer and Debbie Farmer both of Benton, Karen Farmer of Paducah and Bonnie Irwin of Monticello.
Funeral services were held Thursday, May 17, at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home. Bro. Larry Logsdon officiated and burial followed in the Benton Cemetery.
