Mrs. Towery was a retired rural mail carrier and a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Towery of Murray; two daughters, Richela Carson of Murray, and Rhonda Rogers of Murray; one brother, Gene B. Woods of Benton; five grandchildren, Austin Rogers, Dustin Rogers, Chanda Scott, Christie Chapman, Jamie Carson; and seven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Garland and Alene Creason Woods.
Funeral Services were held May 12, in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Bro. Terry Powell and Bro. John Kyle Allred officiated. Burial followed in the Kirksey Baptist Church Cemetery.
