She was a nurse for many years with the Marshall County Hospital. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church.
She is survived by her husband, Teddy West of Gilbertsville; two sons, David West of Benton and Jo West of Fort Apache, Ariz.; one daughter, Teddie Howard of Gilbertsville; one brother; Harley Hargis of Gilbertsville; two sisters, Ledora Parrilli of Buckner , Ill. and Mary Brown of Richland, Mo.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Dave Hargis and Carl “Chick” Hargis; and her parents, Mickey Hargis and Olive Williams Hargis.
There will be no visitation or funeral services at this time. Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home and Crematory is handling the arrangements.
