She was a barge line cook.
Dora is survived by, two daughters, Nevelyn King of Oneonta, Ala. and Susanne Griffey and of Elgin, Ill.; three sisters, Clara Owens of Golconda, Ill., Dorothy Wiley of New Liberty, Ill., and Shirley Calabria of Bourbonnais, Ill.; five grandchildren; 13 great- grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Bessie (Quartermous) Butler; and seven brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were held May 7, at the Brookport Chapel with Rev. Ed Jones officiating. Burial followed in the Cothran Cemetery in Livingston County.
