Mr. Ramey was the retired foreman and boat pilot from Baggett Coal terminal. He was a member of Gilbertsville Masonic Lodge #835 F & AM and Pisgah United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Delorise Fulks Ramey of Grand Rivers; one daughter, Brenda Culver of Taylors, S.C.; one son, Wayne Ramey of Paducah; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one brother; Don Ramey of Mayfield; and one sister, Diane Wallace of Marion.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Steven Ray Ramey and Bobby Neal Ramey; two sisters; five brothers and his parents, Guy Ramey and Gertrude Bridges Ramey.
Funeral services were held April 21, at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home & Crematory. Rev. Steven Proctor officiated and burial followed in the Lee Cemetery.
