She is survived by three daughters, Loucretia McDougal, of Murray, Judy Moore, of Murray, and Awnna Strickland, of Benton; one son, Phillip J. Shepeard, of Benton; one brother, Albert Dowdy, Jr., of Cincinnati, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was prececed in death by her parents, Albert Dowdy Sr. and Willie Mae (Edwards) Dowdy.
Funeral services were held at Collier Funeral Chapel on April 13. Lexie Ray and David Shepeard officiated.
Interment followed at Edwards Cemetery, Benton.
