Arthur D. “Junior” Harris, Jr., 88, of Calvert City, died March 15, at the home of his daughter.

Mr. Harris was a member of Vaughn’s Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church and United Auto Workers Union 523. He retired from Airco Alloys. He was a World War II veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by one son, Edward Harris of Calvert City; one daughter, Linda Mace of Calvert City; six step children and five step great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Mayetta Walker Harris; one son, Larry Dale Harris; one grandson, Kerry Lynn Harris; two brothers, Herbert Harris and Virgil Harris; one sister, Wanda Chumbler; and his parents, Arthur D. Harris, Sr. and Birdie Brocar Harris.

Graveside services were held March 23, at Leonard Cemetery. Rev. Wendell Ordway officiated and burial with Military Rites followed in the Leonard Cemetery.
