Sharon K. Schmidt, 54, of Benton, died Tuesday, March 6, at her residence in Benton. She was a member of Fairdealing Church of Christ.

She is survived by her parents, Richard Witten and Retha (Murray) Witten of Benton; one son, Maxwell James Schmidt of Port Orange, Fla.; two sisters, Rita Felores of Clearwater, Fla., and Dana Peternell, of Carol Stream, Ill..

Memorial services were held at Collier Funeral Chapel March 10, with Lexie B. Ray officiating.
