Miss Ivey is the daughter of Michael and Carla Ivey of Brewers. She is the granddaughter of Joe R. and Pat Green, Bettie Ivey and the late Hurley Ivey. She is the great-granddaughter of Mary Walton of Paducah.
Mr. Samford is the son of Syd and Diane Samford of Sharpe.
