Mr. Bill L. Pursley, 65, of Benton, died February 24, at the Marshall Co. Hospital in Benton.

He retired after 35 years of service with ISP Chemical Corporation in Calvert City. He was a member of the International Association of Machinist local 154 in Calvert City, KY., the Goldwing Club and served his country during the Vietnam War as a Cpl in the United States Marine Corps.

He is survived by his wife, Lorna (Woodrum) Pursley of Benton; one daughter, Leigh Ann Ridgeway of Paducah; one son, Darrin Pursley Courtney of Benton; his mother, Marilyn J. Pursley of Gilbertsville; two step-daughters; one step-son; Nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Jim Pursley of Lecanto, Fla., and Jerry Pursley of Calvert City; three nieces and one nephew also survives.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Irving Pursley.

Funeral services will be held February 28, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Collier Funeral Home in Benton. Rev. Ricky Cunningham will officiate.

Entombment with military honors will follow at the Marshall Co. Memory Gardens Mausoleum, in Benton.
