She was an elementary school teacher. She was a longtime resident of Benton. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Christine Ward of Franklin, Mass.; two grandsons, Blake Ward and Harrison Ward of Franklin, Mass.; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Lykins of Benton; and several neices and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, H. Rhuel Wickham and Doris Fern Doty; her sister, Sharon Lee.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 20, at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home, Charlotte, Mich. with burial in the Maple Hill Cemetery.
