Technicians plan to upgrade the traffic signal at this busy intersection. The have been a number of crashes at the site due to northbound motorists on the US 641 Spur running through the intersection into cross traffic.
To improve visibility of the signal heads they will be raised and upgraded with retro-reflective plates.
Motorists should be alert for ongoing work at the intersection over the next few months as weather allows.
