She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church.
She is survived by two sons, Gary Lynn McKendree of Benton, and Terry McKendree of Calvert City; two grandchildren, Chelsie Marie McKendree and Reann Louis McKendree; two step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildre; three nieces; one nephew; and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lewis McKendree; one brother, Edgar Collins; and one sister, Elsie Collie. Her parents were Tom Collins and Myrtle Whalen Collins.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. February 22, at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home and Crematory. Dr. J.T. Parish and Bro. Russell Bivins will officiate and burial will follow in the Birmingham Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. February 21, 2012 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home & Crematory.
