Robert Lee Seed, 88, of Gilbertsville, died January 27, at Madisonville Regional Medical Center.

Robert was a member of Symsonia United Methodist Church and owner of Kentucky Lake Mobile Homes. He was a lifetime member of VFW, American Legion Post 31 and a member of operating Engineer Local 181 and was a U.S. Navy WWII Veteran.

Mr. Seed is survived by his wife, Bobbie N. Gibson Seed; two daughters, Kay Lee of Boca Raton, Fla., Terri Duncan, of Murraysville, Pa.; one son, Steve Seed, of Paducah, Ky.; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Homer Seed and Bessie Reel Seed; and one son, Jimmy Lee.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 31, at 1:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Dr. Roger Joseph and Rev. Mark Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in Pinnacle Cemetery in Gilbertsville, with military honors.

The Seed family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time of 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
