Ms. Carolyn Elane Bloodworth, 67, of Benton, died Saturday, January 28, at her home in Benton.

She was employed as a cook at Western Baptist Hopsital in Paducah. She was a member of the Vanzora Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Phelps of Benton, and Angela Thompson Alexander of Lone Oak, and 6 grandchildren. One brother, John Bloodworth of Akron, Ohio also survives.

She was preceded in death by two grandchildren; Nikolas Rodriguez and Tanner Rodriguez; and her mother, Mary Louise (Houser) Bloodworth.

Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 31, at 1:00 p.m. in the Cole Cemetery in Benton.

Rev. Randy McClure will officiate.

Interment is to follow in the Cole Cemetery, Benton.

Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, at the Collier Funeral Home in Benton.

The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Vanzora Baptist Church, c/o Benny Pitt, 326 Lee Burd Rd., Benton, KY 42025.
