He worked for Fisher Price in maintenance, and was a member of Olive Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie (Mayall) Gardner, Benton; two sons, David Gardner, Benton and Daniel Gardner, Benton; two sisters, Pam Ciesla, Mich. amd Mary Nell Gardner, Mich.; one brother, Bill Gardner, Mich.; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by James Gardner and Mary (Disney) Gardner.
Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, P.O. Box 492, Benton, KY.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
