He was a retired carpenter and member of the Masonic Lodge in Symsonia. Mr. Reid was also a member of Clarks River Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Beulah Mae (Pillion) Reid; three daughters, Jo Ann Foley, of Symsonia, Alicia Portis, of Symsonia, and Tammy Anderson of Benton; two sisters, Josephine Perry, of Benton and Ella Mae Dotson of Benton; 6 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rollie Reid and Ola Mae (Henson) Reid; and 7 brothers and 2 sisters.
Funeral services were held at Collier Funeral Chapel January 22, Rev. Gary Frizzell and Rev. Bruce Watts officiating.
Interment followed at Clarks River Cemetery, Symsonia.
A Masonic service was held on Saturday, January 21.
