She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Benton Chapter 405.
She is survived by one daughter, Sheila Finch of Benton; one granddaughter; one great grandson, and one great granddaughter, Mattie Ann Bebout
She was preceded in death by her husband, Van S. Wyatt; two sisters, Hilda Roberts and Alene Pace; two brothers, Harlin Staples and Hafford Staples; and her parents, Prince E. Staples and Amanda Darnall Staples.
Funeral services were held January 13, at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home and Crematory. Rev. K. Alan Miller officiated and burial followed in the Benton Cemetery.
