Marshall County High School football coach Ron Barnard recognized the players and all those who support and make the sport possible during the school's banquet recognition ceremony Sunday afternoon.
No individual awards were presented, as Barnard chooses to emphasize team over individuals in every facet of the program. "If you wear a helmet," he told the players, "you're an MVP."
The Marshals posted a 6-5 record, hosting a first-round playoff game, in Barnard's second season at the helm of the program.
