He was a member of First Baptist Church in Calvert City. He retired from S.K.W. Steel & Alloys after 30 years. He was a member of the United Auto Workers Union Local #523 and of the Masonic Lodge for over 40 years.
He is survived by his brother, Bobby Ramage of Tiline; and foster brother, Dr. Jim Hamilton of Lexington.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Whitt and Pauline Solomon Cann; and by several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services were held December 26, at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home & Crematory. Dr. Chad Badger officiated and burial followed in the Marshall County Memory Gardens.
