Earl Trafton Henson, 93, of Paducah, died Saturday at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

He was drafted into the Army toward the end of World War II and guarded well-known war criminals in Germany and France. He was a painter for the Illinois Central Railroad and was a member of the Carmen Labor Union.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Gordon Henson; two daughters, Gloria Harris and Pam Shoulta, all of Paducah; two sons, James T. Henson of Gilbertsville, and Rickie Henson of Paducah; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. December 20, at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Burial will follow at Bolton Cemetery in Symsonia.
