Mr. Rodney Blair Wood, age 57, of Benton, died Sunday, December 18, 2011, at 5:17 a.m. at the Marshall Co. Hospital. He was employed as a golfcart mechanic.

He is survived by his wife: Janice (Albright) Wood of Benton, daughter; Amy Wood of Gainesville, GA., son; Chris Wood of Gainesville, GA.; three step-sons; Mike Holmes, Mark Holmes and Brad Holmes all of Benton, 11 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; four sisters, Earlene Hamlett of Benton, Hontus Fields of Benton, Lela Powell of Benton, and Lovetta Little of Benton; and one brother, Johnny Wood of Benton

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Wood and LaVerne (Garland) Wood, and one sister, Dixie Barker.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 21, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of the Collier Funeral Home in Benton, KY. Rev. C.C. Brasher will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Provine Cemetery, Benton.

Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, at the Collier Funeral Home.
