Dan earned the Bronze Star and Purple Heart for his service in Vietnam . Dan was a member of the American Legion post 236 in Calvert City. He worked with North Shore Gas Company (now Integras) in Waukegan, Ill.
Dan is survived by his wife, Sandra; three sons, Daniel Graham, Jr., Sean Graham, and Scott Graham; five grandchildren; siblings, Marybeth Bader, and Patricia Shields, and many nieces and nephews.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Ida (nee Stripe) Graham; his son, Spc. Kevin Graham; his brothers, Robert, John, and Timothy Graham.
There will be a visitation for family and friends at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 13, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A funeral service will take place at 12:30 p.m. on December 13 at the funeral home with burial and full military honors at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove to follow at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in Dan’s name to the Fisher House at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
