Glenn “Blue” Watkins, 76, of Benton, died November 29, at his residence in Benton.
He was retired from Pennwalt Chemical where he worked as a pipefitter and welder. He was a 50 year member of the T.L. Jefferson Masonic Lodge #622 in Benton and was a member of the New Harmony Baptist Church.
He was the son of the late Willie Freeman Watkins and the late Erman Mary Watkins.
He is survived by his wife, Norma (Phelps) Watkins of Benton; two sons, Hal Mitchell Watkins of Lyons, Ill. and Todd Morgan Watkins of Benton; two sisters, Mary Sue Lovett and Frances Carol Norwood both of Olive; one brother, Eulas Watkins of Zeffer Hills, Fla., and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Freeman Watkins and Erman Mary Watkins; and two brothers, Delcie Watkins and Cleaver Watkins.
Funeral services were held December 2, in the Chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton.
Rev. David Brasher and Rev. Jerry Lee officiated.
Interment followed at the Hillcrest Cemetery, Benton.
