James W. “Jim” Eads, 73, of Mayfield, died November 23, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center.
Jim was the owner of Woodside Manufacturing in Benton for many years. Jim was an avid pilot, a member of Cuba Church of Christ and a former longtime member of the Benton Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Sapp Eads of Mayfield; three daughters, Christine Riley of Benton, Debbie Ray of Mayfield, and Jan Shadix of Jasper, Ala.; one brother, David Eads of Point Pleasant, W.Va.; one nephew, James Robert Eads of Liberty, W.Va.; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
He was preceeded in death by his parents, James O. Eads and Bernedine Crooks Eads.
Funeral services were held November 26, at Benton Church of Christ. Will McSweeny officiated and burial followed in the Benton Church of Christ Cemetery.
