She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Rickman of Calvert City; one son, Darrel Newton of Benton; two brothers, Chester Uzzle, Benton, Clarence Uzzle, of Calvert City; 4 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Finis Carter Newton; brother, William Ernest Uzzle; sister, Ora Worth; and her parents, Charlie O. Uzzle and Beulah Uzzle.
Funeral services were at the Collier Funeral Chapel on October 26, Gary Knuckles officiated.
Interment followed at Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton
