According to reports, deputies stopped a vehicle driven by Samantha Jones. Detectives recovered methamphetamine from the vehicle's passenger, Steven Miller, of Paducah. During a search of the vehicle by detectives, they located an active working meth lab in a two liter soda bottle under the driver's seat.
Detectives arrested and charged Jones with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of controlled substance 1st degree-meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was lodged in the Marshall County Jail.
Miller was taken to his residence in McCracken County where Probation and Parole officers and McCracken County detectives located additional items used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine and a small quantity of methamphetamine. Miller was charged with offenses in McCracken County and lodged in the McCracken County Jail. Detectives with the Marshall County Sheriff's Office will be charging him with additional charges for manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of controlled substance 1st degree-meth.
McCracken County Sheriff's Office and Kentucky Probation and Parole assisted in the investigation.
