BENTON – The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department is once again ajusting its hours to help accomodate poperty owners paying taxes.
Tax collection hours at the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. The office will remain open later on Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Staff will also be available for limited hours on the weekend. Saturday Oct. 15, 22 and 29, the sheriff’s office will be open from 8 a.m. to noon. There is also a drop-box for tax payments located on the front of the building beside the entrance.
Beginning November 1, regular office hours will resume, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Discounts for early payment are still in effect until the end of October.
