Michael D. Lyles, 50 of Calvert City, died September 26, at his residence. He worked as a transport driver for NASCAR families of Johnny Benson, Jeremy Mayfield, DEI, Tony Stewart, and Hendrick Motor Sports.

He is survived by his mother, Judith Goheen and step-father James L. Goheen of Calvert City; father, Hal B. Lyles, Jr. of Calvert City; three brothers, Tim Lyles of Memphis, Tenn., Bruce Lyles of Calvert City, and Andy Lyles of Calvert City; two nieces; one uncle; one cousin; and several relatives of the Whitehead Family in Great Britain.

Memorial services were held September 29, in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home in Benton. Rev. Chris Moore and Rev. Adele Ambler officiated.
