Mildred E. King, 84, of Calvert City, died Tuesday, September 20, at Calvert City Convalescent Center in Calvert City. She was a retired retail clerk for Sisk’s Ready to Wear and a member of Calvert City United Methodist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Janet Moore of Benton; one son, Ronald King of Gilbertsville; one Brother: Frank Egner of Calvert City; five grand children and four great-grand children.

She was preceded in death by, her husband, J.D. King; her parents, Ed Egner and Lillian (Crenshaw) Egner and sister, Juanita Inman Pugh.

Funeral service was held at the Calvert City United Methodist Church Friday, September 23, Tommy Jowers and Jim Calhoun officiated.

Interment followed at Provine Cemetery, Benton.
