Mrs. Lyon was a member of First Baptist Church Paducah, and worked as a clerk for CVS Pharmacy.
She is survived by her husband, George Elliot Lyon of Paducah; one daughter, Monica; two sons, Tim Lyon and Rusty Lyon; four sisters, Janie Bell Rundle and Betty Lou Ashley both of Paducah, Sandra Kay Fulks of Eddyville, Carolyn Jean Lewis of Memphis, Tenn.; two brothers, Gary Thomas Carter of Calvert City, and Roger Dale Carter of Gilbertsville, and 3 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Bell Carter; and her two brothers, Jerry Franklin Carter and David Wayne Carter. Her parents were Charles D. Carter, Jr. and Bertie Bowerman Carter.
Memorial services were Tuesday, September 6, at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home and Crematory. Brother Russ Wilson officiated.
