Shelley is the granddaughter of Buddy and Barbara Hicks of Paducah and the late Smitty and Brenda Simons of Reidland.
She is a 2006 graduate of Lone Oak High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry in 2010 from Murray State University. She is an alumna of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority and is employed by West Towne Pharmacy in Paducah.
Justin is the grandson of Brooks and Daphina McGregor of Benton, Mary Ruth Grigsby of Alabama and Lloyd and Anita Grigsby of Alabama. He is a 2004 graduate of Marshall County High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health in 2008 from Murray State University and a master’s degree in safety management in 2009. He is employed by United Barge Line in Metropolis, IL.
A fall wedding is planned.
