Mr. Eicholtz retired from the United States Postal Service after 34 years of employment, serving as a window clerk at Bridge Street Station and was a member of APWU Union. He was a faithful member of Calvert City Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife Martha Beard Eicholtz; two children, Marla Baker of North Canton, Ohio and Erik Thomas Eicholtz of Reidland; five grandchildren, Mitchell Baker, Alyssa Baker, Erika Eicholtz, Kayla Eicholtz and Lilly Eicholtz; a sister, Wanda Jackson of Paducah, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Sylvia Eicholtz; two brothers, Ted Eicholtz and Billy Don Eicholtz.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Lance Cordle officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Creek Church of Christ Cemetery in Graves County. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 5-8 p.m.
