Services for James “J.T” Carman III, 19, of Smithland, formerly of Paducah, were held Friday, August 26, at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah, with the Rev. Tom Emerson officiating. Burial took place in the Liberty Cemetery in Graves County.

J.T. died Monday, August 22, in Marshall County.

J.T. worked for West Kentucky Towing and Recovery, and Patti’s 1880’s Restaurant. J.T. had also recently joined the Ledbetter Volunteer Fire Department.

J.T. is survived by his mother, Georgianne Carman of Paducah; his father, James T. Carman Jr. of Bowling Green, his stepmother, Tammy M. Epps of Kevil; his sister, Zara M. Carman of Paducah; and his sister, Jenna Nicole Daniel, also of Paducah; his paternal grandparents, James T. and Joyce Ann Carman of Paducah; and his stepgrandmother, Linda L. Morehead of Kevil; along with a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

J.T. was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Shirley M. Hembree; and his stepgrandfather, Jack D. Morehead.
