With names like Naughty By Nature Rude, Komatose and Chic Canyon, Old School Wrestlers have been making their way to Hardin since 2000 and thrilling a growing crowd of followers with body slams, head bumps and head games.
Last Saturday night Old School Wrestlers played to a packed house at the Hardin Community Center once again, complete with sign waving fans to cheer them on.
Chic Canyon is a hometown favorite of the group. For Canyon, it’s more than a sport. It is his job. After three years in training he now competes every weekend, and has been competing an additional three years. He says he competes in many cities across the area, but Hardin is his favorite stop. “This is my hometown, he said. It’s an adrenaline rush.”
The next Old World Wrestling show is set for September 3 at 7:30 in Hardin. If you want to experience wrestling the way it used to be, head on out for an evening of hi-energy fun.
