Entries are now being taken for the 49th Annual Dr. John C. Quertermous Memorial golf tournament being held at Murray Golf Course on May 30 and May 31.

This year there will be two divisions – an open division and a high school division.

The open division will have cash prizes while the high school division will have gift certificates for prizes.

The open division, flighted after the first day, will have five flights (with a full field).

Entry fees will be $60 per person for the open division and $40 for the high school division. Cart fee will be $12 each day per person.

Tee times will be the same both days with the exception of the top ten leaders in the open division. They will tee off in the last groups on Sunday.

Tee times, 7:30-9:40 a.m. and 12:20-2:00 p.m., can be made by calling Club Pro, Mark Landry at 270-753-9430.

Tee times will be given on a first come, first served basis. Entries will be taken up to May 27th or until the field is full.

Despite the damage from the ice storm to some of the trees, the golf course is in very good condition. All greens have been resurfaced during the past two years.
