DRAFFENVILLE – Marshall County recorded several top-10 finishes – including a few wins – in a pair of track meets last week.

Last Tuesday, MCHS hosted an all-comers meet at Carroll Traylor Stadium. Brandon Walker led the way for the Marshals with a pair of victories – one in the high jump (6 feet, 6 inches) and another in the long jump (21-00).

100-meter dash: Ryan MacGillis, 11th (:12.20); Bryant Sheridan, 11th (:12.20); Conner Jones, 14th (:12.30); Devan Holmes, 22nd (:13.30);

For the Lady Marshals, Tory Fehrenbacher tied for first place in the 100-meter dash with a time of :13.30. Also earning a victory for the Lady Marshals was Terra Spiker in the discus (90-01).

For the Marshals, Andrew Lowery picked up a win in the shot put with a throw of 43-04.

Tory Fehrenbacher won another race, finishing the 400-meter dash in 1:03.29. Hannah Ellis also notched a win for the Lady Marshals, taking first in the high jump (4-11).
