CALVERT CITY–Calvert City Country Club’s Orange Waves rolled past Marion Tuesday defeating the visiting team 1066 to 336.

The Waves started the season with new head coach Katherine Gordon at the helm and seem to be setting a course toward excellence.

Whitney Barrett won the breaststroke event.

Barrett had two other 1st place finishes at the meet in the backstroke and individual medley.

She also had two 2nd place finishes in the freestyle and butterfly events.

Ian Frietag won the backstroke event.

He also won the individual medley and the butterfly.

He took 2nd in the freestyle and 3rd in the breaststroke.

Kelsey Owen finished 4th in the breaststroke and also finished 3rd in the backstroke and individual medley.

The team had winners in several other events Tuesday but full results were not available as of press time.
