Former player returns as coach

DRAFFENVILLE– Marshall County High School Athletic Office has announced Shannon Gipson as the new head volleyball coach. Gipson has been very involved with the volleyball team as a club coach since 2007.

She was a member of the MCHS volleyball team from 2002-2006.

Gipson is currently attending Murray State University where she is working toward her middle school teaching certificate with an emphasis in math and science.

“I am really excited to see what the season holds for both myself and the girls,” said Gipson.

Open gym practices will end this week and practice for the upcoming season will officially get under way July 15.
