Orange Waves hold final home meet of the season

BENTON – In their last home meet of the season, the Orange Waves dominated the team from Marion, winning by a large margin.

Landon Lindsey swimming 12U and Josh Gordon 18U placed first in all four individual stroke events.

Sofia Bayer 8U, Abby Spicer 12U and Sarah Telle 18U placed first in three individual events.

Alicia Miller 10U, Sidney Jackson 14U, Paul Hudson 14U and Coleton Jones 10U all had two first place finishes to their credit.

Also placing first in one individual event were swimmers Lilly Goheen 6U, Courtney Holder 8U, Jillian Farris 12U, Carli Merrick 14U, Allie Pearson 14U, Amanda Anderson 18U and Garrett Parker 8U.

Always strong in relay events, the Orange Waves took first in eight of ten medley relay events and eight of ten freestyle relay events.

Saturday will be the Orange Waves last meet of the summer in Marion, Ill.
