MARSHALL COUNTY – Finishing a suspended game from June 15th, Tri-County picked up where they left off in the bottom of the second with bases loaded down 3-0 to district rival Mayfield. Tri-County scored two runs to close Mayfield’s lead to 3-2.

Tri-County’s four run fifth inning propelled them into the lead over Mayfield 6-3. Tri-County scored one more to beat Mayfield 7-3 in the first game of their double-header. Cody Nesbitt was the winning pitcher.

In game two, Bill Schroeder was the winning pitcher in Tri-County’s 8-3 win over Mayfield.

Saturday, Tri-County didn’t fare as well in their double header with Bowling Green losing both games by scores of 11-0 and 8-3.

Tri-County plays Paducah Post 31 tonight at Miller Park at 6 p.m.
