Fehrenbacher,
Hunt have big
night on the road

CHRISTIAN COUNTY– Christian County’s Lady Colonels hosted the Lady Marshals Varsity and JV squads last week. Tori Fehrenbacher and Michaela Hunt combined for almost half of the Lady Marshals points, Fehrenbacher with 13 and Hunt with 12, in the win over the Lady Colonels.

The Lady Marshals found themselves trailing Christian County by 6 points at the end of the first quarter, 16-10.

Going ahead by five at halftime, 24-19, the Lady Marshals held the Lady Colonels to just three points in the second quarter.

Marshall County pulled away to a 10 point lead in the third quarter after a three point shot by Fehrenbacher. The lead was nine going into the final quarter of play, 34-25.

The Lady Colonels pulled back to within seven at the beginning of the fourth quarter. Lena Bohannon was fouled making her basket and one at the line to extend the lead to 10 again, 37-27. Bohannon added another basket to go up over the Lady Colonels by 12.

The Lady Marshals beat the Lady Colonels by a final score of 52-26.

Hunt and Bohannon had a good rebounding night with Hunt pulling down 8 and Bohannon 11.

The Lady Marshals record now stands at 12-6.
