engagement: Johnston-Albritton
Mr. and Mrs. James M. Johnston of Sharpe announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Marie, to Anthony Eben Albritton, son of Ms. Rebecca Albritton of Benton.
Lauren is the granddaughter of the late Boyce and Wanda Chumbler of Calvert City and the late Martin and Ruth Johnston of Paducah.
She is a 2006 graduate of Marshall County High School and a 2008 graduate of West Kentucky Community and Technical College with a degree in Medical Administration. She is employed by the Marshall County Clerk’s office.
Anthony is the grandson of Spencer and Judy Goard of Fairdealing.
He is a 2007 graduate of Marshall County High School and is currently attending Shawnee Baptist College in Louisville, where is is majoring in Pastoral Theology and minoring in Youth Ministry. He is serving as a summer intern youth pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Draffenville.
The wedding will be at 7:15 p.m., August 2, at Patti’s Garden Gazebo in Grand Rivers. A reception will follow. All friend and relatives are invited to attend. Only out-of-town invitations are being sent.
engagement: Dunn-Hicks
Mr. & Mrs. Joseph W. Dunn of Benton announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Renee’ Dunn to Jeromy Franklin Hicks, son of Larry & Linda Hicks of Mayfield.
Miss Dunn is the granddaughter of Carl & Shirley Pinnegar of Benton and Dorothy Dunn and the late James Dunn also of Benton. She is a 1999 graduate of Marshall County High School and a 2003 graduate of Murray State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. She is employed by Arkema Inc, in Calvert City, as a Laboratory Technician.
Mr. Hicks is the grandson of Margie Hicks and the late Willard Hicks of Mayfield and the late Nancy and Dennis Reeves also of Mayfield. He is a 1993 graduate of Graves County High School. He is employed by The City of Benton Police Department, as a Police Officer.
The wedding vows will be exchanged at 4:00 p.m. on May 17th, 2008 at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Benton, KY with a reception to follow at the Calvert City Country Club. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.

Mr. and Mrs. Mike Buss of Sparta, Ill. announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey Buss, to Brandon Hughes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Hughes of Benton.
Lindsey is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Wilson of Sparta, Ill. and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Buss of Breese, Ill.
She is a 2004 graduate of Sparta High School and is employed by Wal-Mart in Murray.
Brandon is the grandson of Jim and Bettye Conner of Benton and Charles and the late Wiladean Estes of Almo, and Robert and Dorothy Hughes of Benton.
He is a 2002 graduate of Marshall County High School and is employed by the Wal-Mart in Mayfield.
The wedding will take place at 2 p.m. May 10 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Sparta, Ill. All friends are invited to attend. |
