anniversary: Walker
Lowell and Leona Walker of Sharpe will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Thursday, March 18.
The couple married on March 18, 1960, at Oakland Methodist Church.
The Rev. Bert Owen officiated. Their attendants were sisters of the bride and brothers of the groom.
Mrs. Walker, the former Miss Jannette Vines, is a retired LPN from Lourdes Hospital.
Mr. Walker is the owner of Signco of Paducah.
Together they have two children, Tim Walker and wife Rhonda of Calvert City and the late Jeffrey Walker.
They have two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The couple will celebrate on Friday, March 19 with a family dinner at Patti’s 1880s Settlement in Grand Rivers.
